Fall Wedding Accessories

If you’re looking for accessories and tips for a fabulous fall wedding, or you just want to plan a wedding with an autumnal theme, this article is for you. The fall is a unique time to get married; the change of the seasons, the leaves falling, and the cool crispness in the air. Since June weddings are so popular, not very many people consider getting married in the fall. The right accessories will accentuate and enhance the joyous and festive wedding atmosphere. So, look for fall wedding accessories that fit this description.

Since leaves falling down are one of the signature aspects of the autumn season, it’s no surprise that most fall wedding accessories utilizes leaves extensively in their designs. Place card holders made of leaves are one example of this. Balloons, napkins and centerpieces are done in various shades of brown and orange; these colors are typical of the season. Pumpkin and acorn-shaped candles are popular as well. Weddings close to or on Halloween might incorporate themes of associated with the season. Costumed weddings are an atypical way of holding a wedding ceremony, and that opens up entirely different, yet spooky avenues for buying wedding accessories.

Another staple of the fall season is the color of chocolate. It fits right in with the other autumn colors and in more ways than one shows itself in the color palette of fall wedding accessories. Placing chocolates on each place setting and using chocolate-colored guest books or gift boxes are a few creative ways to incorporate chocolate into the wedding scenery. In addition to the various hues of brown, orange, and chocolate, soft yellows, and even black are used for accessory colors. In spring, green is used often; in summer, yellow is popular; in winter, red, white, and green are dominant colors. By comparison, fall has several more colors to work with.

A September, October, or November wedding will invariably use the colors of the season to create a warm and inviting décor to match the loving occasion at hand. Don’t shy away from buying fall wedding decorations with leaves on them, since they are as much a part of the season as the colors that are often associated with it. An autumn wedding can be lots of fun, but don’t forget to supplement the decorations with accessories full of eye-pleasing colors. Take advantage of the wide range of colors autumn gives you.
